Perhaps I can encourage some one else to help by saying how valuable your efforts are to a person like me who has never been to Jefferson County and who dreams of visiting one day. I eagerly read the list each day - even though none of the families seem to be related to me. Through the list and the web pages I feel that I am getting to know Jefferson County - past and present. Now I have a road map I can even work out where all the towns are.
