I would like to announce a new website created for the new Rock Island Lighthouse Keepers Memorial Association. The group is currently composed of descendants James Eagan, Twig Mills, and myself, Mark Wentling) of three different keepers of the lighthouse (William Johnston, Willard L. Cook, and Michael J. Diepolder, respectively). The website currently has historic background, photos, and a short page about all the former keepers that I know about.
