Apparently, the gentleman with the Rowe ancestors who lived on Pillar Point, was not interested, but in the meantime you all gave me insight enough to question part of the text and make notes to that effect. The Rowe-Chase families did not leave Ellisburgh in 1820 for the West as followers of the Mormon religion -- they converted along the way. Thanks to all of you who helped me on this.
