Mr. and Mrs. Samuel HICKS Mrs. Buel CUSHMAN ---D.W. COPELAND, of Syracuse, inventor of the new railroad gate for crossings, who two years ago was running a small grocery store in Lowville, will probably soon become a millionaire. The gate has already been patented in the United States and England and Mr. COPELAND goes to Ottawa this week to secure a patent in Canada.
