Hi Jefferson listers, I've tried putting out a specific query for my 3d grgrfather Monroe Madison GARDNER (1822 in Sackets Harbor-1899), but had no response. Could some kind soul tell me any or all of the early (pre-1820) GARDNER settlers in Jefferson County ? Perhaps I can work from back to front . Monroe's uncle who raised him was Jonathan GARDNER b ca 1778 in CT or MA. Also, any pre-1820 SEAMAN family settlers. Thanks, Neal Thompson GARDNER...this is my steel wall
