Hi, all. I, too, am interested in Gardner in Jefferson or St. Lawrence counties, or even possibly Otsego. My 2nd great grandfather, Sylvanus Hatch, reported married a Eunice Gardner. Sylvanus was it Otsego, around Butternuts, before Jefferson Co. I have been suspicious of Lion Gardner of Connecticut as the founder of the line in 'the colonies', but have no proof.
