Hello! yesterday, I received my gg grandfathers' Civil War pension file, and I found out a little more! My gg grandfather was John T. Mott. He was born March 02, 1834 in Houndsfield. He married Harriet Crook(didn't know about this!)..who died on/about June 02, 1862 at Watertown. He then married my gg grandmother, Elizabeth Anne Weaver on January 01, 1867 in Wilna. They were married by Rev. E. E. Kellogg. They had: Jennie A. Mott b. July 18, 1868 m. A. H. Stuart Adah E. Mott b. August 09, 1870 m. William Foote Albert Riley Mott b. March 22, 1872 m. Genevieve John(also called Don) Hayes Mott b. April m. Emma Myra Weaver. In an affidavit on June 08, 1912, two of his siblings sign their names. They are: Albert W. Mott and Jane A. Moore. The affidavit was drawn out in Watertown by a William K. Mott(another sibling? cousin?). John T. Mott died October 25, 1911 in Prosser, Adams County, Nebraska. Can anyone help me? Any ideas on who his family(parents?) might have been. All suggestions are welcome! Thank You!
