A visitor to my Lighthouses of Jefferson County site left the following comment in my guestbook: ____________________________________________________________________________ Comments: My GG Grandfather was Henry James Ward. Family records show that he was the keeper of the Pillar Point Lighthouse in Brownsville, Jefferson Co. I saw no mention of this lighthouse on your site and was wondering if we had the name correct or if it was just omitted. Also, another relative George H. Ward ran the Horse Island Lighthouse while working for the Coast Guard in the early 1900's. Looking forward to hearing from you regarding the Pillar Point Lighthouse. ____________________________________________________________________________ I am not aware of a lighthouse at Pillar Point so I am hoping that someone else may have some info that I can forward to my visitor.
