Dear Listers: I hope this is the last one from me for a VERY long time. The problem with personal email was mine: there was a toggle out in cyberspace that I hadn't toggled correctly, and for punishment, the note I sent to Mark Wentling you all have seen. I meant it for Mark only. I'm sorry if I came down like a wet blanket. You should now be able to send a reply to one person by clicking on your usual return message button, without sending it to the list. If you want to address the list (and I hope you do) you have to put in the NYJEFFER-L address. I'm very new at this, and also computer challenged. I do my best, but obviously, in my previous note to you, my best is none too good. Do send personal messages personally, and keep the general information coming to the list. To call your attention to something someone may have overlooked, please check our list of Jefferson County people on the website (does everyone know what I mean by THE WEBSITE?) before you send biographies. They just might be already there. And please send bios to the bio board, obits to the obit board, etc. If you want to call attention to a name you have just put on, by all means do so, but sort out the categories for all of us. Just the listers will get your information if you send it to the list (I BELIEVE!) but sending it to the GenConnect boards helps the whole rootsweb and beyond.
