Hello all listers:...Is anyone on the list researching the RIGGS surname?...I am descended from James RIGGS and Pamelia CARRINGTON RIGGS...Both are buried in the Dexter Cemetery, Jefferson Co., NY...Their son La Fayette RIGGS is my gg grandfather and I am trying to find his path from his parents home, (Jefferson Co. census, 1850) to Lowndes Co., MS in the 1860 census...The ten years between the 1850 and 1860 census is a mystery and he died in MS in 1864...
