I know that she was born in Watertown, NY, because it is mentioned in her obituary. But it does not mention when she left Watertown. She did make her way to Clinton, Iowa, living there from about 1862 until her death in 1912. She was married to a Hathaway first, date unknown, and married Joseph W. Adams in 1868.
