The FHL catalog shows the 1835 state census for Jefferson County as broken across two films: Census records, A-H 1835 895239 Census records, H-W 1835 895240 I assume that the letters indicate the first letters of towns, so that if I were looking for Brownville, I would want film 895239. Can someone verify that that is correct? Thanks for any help, Kathy
