Unsolved mysteries from Jefferson County: 1) Who was Clark S Hubbard's mother? Clark was born in Aug 1846 in Ellisburgh. His father Jeremiah married for the second time Harriet Benton on 11 Oct 1848 In Barre, Orleans, New York. All three are in the 1850 census in Ellisburgh near Jeremiah's father Jesse. In 1860 they are in Barre, and in 1870 Clark is in Linn county Missouri. I have not been able to find any information on the first wife. Help would be greatly appreciated. 2) What was the maiden name of Elmira A married to Daniel C Tubbs before 1836? They are in the 1850 census in Henderson. By 1870 they were in Linn county, Missouri. According to census data, both of her parents were born in New York. Any information greatly appreciated.
