    3. I am researching the descendants of William McPHERSON (b.1752 Deering, Hillsborough, NH, d. 18 Sep 1828 Chaumont, Jefferson, NY) who married 1780 GREGG (b. 1756 Londonderry, Rockingham, NH, d. 1826 Chaumont). Their issue (all born in Deering): Ann 1781, Hannah 1783, Mary 1785, Hugh 1787, Robert 1790, Sally 1792, Rosana 1794, William II 1797. Huh married 1810 Betsy Butterfield, and their family of 12 resided in Chaumont. William II married 1st Jane Forsythe, and 2nd Esther (?) and their family of 8 also resided in Chaumont. Thank you for your help in suggesting resources and local records available. Rob Gregg

    3. Good Morning Rob. Have you checked out http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyjeffer for your McPherson family? If not, go to the site, and put mcpherson in the search box. You will get 22 hits to check. Then go back to main page and click onto Site Index...scroll down until you come to the town of Lyme which encompasses Chaumont & Three Mile Bay. You will see Bartlett's cemetery records (transcribed from stones) show several of the McPhersons. Good luck in your search.
