Sheila, The Woodside Cemetery is in Ellisburg. The only cemetery IN Belleville is a small Carpenter Cemetery on Route 289 adjacent to the bridge over one of the Sandy Creeks. Have you ever tried the Historical Association of So. Jefferson at 29 E. Church St., Adams, NY 13605. They have all the original Jefferson Journal newspapers (and on film also) dating back from about 1845-50. They also have Woodside Cemetery records there. They are slow to respond.
