Hi Pat- Glad to meet you. I am continuing my search on the Calvin DYE family. Calvin DYE b April 12 , 1810 NY or CT m1 abt 1839 Jefferson Co, NY Burilla (surname unknown) m2 Sept 2, 1847 Henderson, Jefferson Co, NY Roxana NUTTING. This family removed to Wisconsin between 1855 and 1860 and remained there. I am still looking for the parents of Calvin. I believe he was born in New York. I have a great amount of information on this family once they arrived in Wisconsin and the census 1840, 1850, and 1855 Henderson, Jefferson County, New York as well. Anyone out there run across Calvin's parents? At World Connect there is a posting by [email protected] re your Calvin Dye b. April 12, 1810 in CT with a wife Burilla b. 1822 (no other info on her). Calvin's father is listed as Oliver Dye with a wife Lucy (no maiden name given). There 4 children by this marriage. There are 8 children listed re his marriage to Roxanna Nutting. Thanks Florence- I do have that information about Oliver and Lucy infact she got that information from me. I suspect that Oliver and Lucy might be Calvin's parents - but do not have any documentation whatsoever to that. One person a few years ago stated she thought Oliver and Lucy might be Calvin's parents - but she had to doumentation either and that is the only thing I have as to Oliver being Calvin's father.
