I'm late, as usual, in welcoming Pat Regan as our new listmaster. She's had it for about a week, and WOW, look at what she's achieved! More traffic than we've seen in years, if not ever, and she's gone and got that gateway thing fixed up, and I suspect has done a lot more behind the scenes work. I'm still looking for the parents of one William Cupernall (spell that any way you feel like; our ancestors certainly did!) who was the grandfather of Ira Cupernall, my husband's grandfather. His parents were born probably in the Schoharie or Mohawk Vally, lived in the Town of Orleans, possibly in the Fishers Landing area, and may have had a daughter Rachel also. There were two, possibly three separate families in Jefferson County: one settled in the Town of Lyme area, and another in the Town of Theresa area. The one I'm looking for was certainly in the Town of Orleans, possibly born about 1800. Nan Dixon
