    3. Hi Denise, I don't think that I can help you. I am interested in this family only because Georgiana Johnson, daughter of Edward and Adelaide married into my Gosier (Albert, also known as Bert) family. I have that Georgiana had siblings Emma and Frank, I didn't know about Joseph and there may be more siblings. Georgiana was born, in Canada, May 10, 1873, seventeen years after Joseph. No doubt you have tried the Jefferson county roots web site (www.rootsweb.com/ ~nyjeffer/) Good Luck. 3. Phyllis and Denise, I wonder if we have a connection. I have a James Edward Johnston from Ontario, Canada. Born in 1852 in Ireland he traveled to Canada where he met and married Adeline Nesbit(Nesbet). His parents were Christopher and Margaret Johnston. James had several children, Margaret Mae1888, Frontenac, Archibald Wilfred,1894 Bell Rock, and James Edward b. 1890in Bell Rock,Canada. A girl, Sadie was born in Michigan in 1892. I find it hard to believe that James was an only child at this time in history. Happy New Year to all! Nancy Phyllis Putnam <[email protected]> wrote: Hi Denise, I don't think that I can help you.
