My Wright is at present, a tentative name. Family rumor/history lists my ggggrandmother as Henrietta Koons Wright Patterson. She lived in Allegany Co. NY in the only time frame I can place her. She married after the CW to my ggggrandfather Obed Patterson of Grove, Allegany Co. NY. Before that, I have no inkling as to where she was living. On her tombstone is listed Etta Koons Patterson. I have a feeling that she may have married a Wright before or during the war and that he died in the war. They had no issue that I am aware of. The earliest child is born after she married Obed. I recently received a copy of a bankruptcy started in 1877 by ana Asa D WRIGHT & his brother John WIlliam WRIGHT, for land in Wilma Twp, but they lived in Denmark across the county line in Lewis & he was to young for my g,g,g,grandfather.
