There is one Michael Weaver in NY in 1830 and then two in 1840, neither in Jefferson County, and I don't think they are yours because in the first case there are far too many children and in the second the only daughter was under age 5 in 1840. I'll try to do more checking later. About every two years I try to post again, hoping for some new information. Michael and Catherine Tisserand came to ?? in 1830 from France. Their daughter, Mary Catherine-age 6 came with them. English translation was Wever or Weaver leading me to believe they came to a non-French speaking community. I find them in Redwood, N.Y.1850. The mother, Catherine, living with daughter Mary Catherine and husband Joseph Senecal.(married 1839) I can't find any more information on Michael or Catherine. I have all the later information. They were my g-g-g-grandparents.
