    1. HAVE A SUBJECT!
    2. Nancy Dixon
    3. I can't think of a word for this letter, but if anyone is going to search the mailing list for names, the names MUST APPEAR IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF THE EMAIL! This means if you have a query or comment about the Dixon family, the subject for your email should be DIXON FAMILY, or Curtis Dixon, or Dixon, Curtis and Lydia. Give the search engine a handle to help others with. War of 1812, in a recent letter, is fine. Roses to the sender! People trying to find more about their War of 1812 ancestor can type in that and come up with something. Be creative! Help, correction, in reply to, all have their places as subjects, but not here. Be specific. You may even help yourself that way. Patriot's War material will soon begin to appear on the Jefferson County GenWebSite, and we're hoping for lists of War of 1812 soldiers to appear by summer. (Don't hold your breath, we're always late!) Harold Sanderson's master lists of the Civil War soldiers are all in place on the GenWebSite, as well as a list of GAR posts. Enjoy!
