    3. Can any furnish any info on towns and Parents of the following.... #2 I have census records for the 1825 New York State Census that lists both Stanton Covey and John Sanderson families living in Antwerp town. Unfortunately, the enumerator alphabetized the names so locations cannot be ascertained. #3 John Sanderson is probably in St. Lawrence County, Fowler town in the 1840 census. The approximate ages of the children listed in the census are correct for the family. #4 Stanton Covey is in Rutlant Town, Jefferson County in the 1820 federal Census 1 male 10-16, 1 male 16-26, 1 male 45 and up. 1 female under 10, 1 female 10-16, and 1 female over 45. This is found on page 464 for Jefferson County. #5 Stanton Covey is in Antwerp town in the 1830 federal census on page 85 listed as being between 60 and 70 with the oldest female in the household aged 50-60. There obviously is also a younger family in the household--both adults are between 20 and 30 and there are 3 males and 1 female under the age of 10. I don't believe this in the Sanderson family but it may be. # Jonathan Covey family also lives in Jefferson County, first in the town of Rutland and then in the twon of Wilna. (The towns in New York are like townships in other parts of the country.) They are will documented and are written up in many of the local histories of the area. They moved from another New York county to Jefferson County. #6 According to the death record for Mary Alsina Sanderson Tillotson Laine Southern, she was born in St. Lawrence County. We should learn more when the Civil War Pension folder for her first husband finally arrives. Clarence Sanderson
