I have recently begun a search for my family and I am having a very hard time locating any information on my great grandparents, mostly because of discrepancies in their last names. I went to the Flower Library and got copies of my grandmother and grandfathers obits and the last name for my grandmother was different in both. This is the information that I have for last names: Manen, Mancen. My grandmother was born in Quincy MA, and it says that she moved to the Rutland Hollow area with her parents, Anthony and Mary Mercier Manen as a young child. So I guess my question here is how do I find out her real last name? Do you think that her marriage license would have been filled out by her??
