Catholic churches by letter, I was told their records didn't begin until 1852, & one said 1895. Now, I know people were going to church, getting married, and dying & being buried between 1800-1895. I even know Dr. Eli West performed the wedding ceremony of my g-g-grandparents but can't get a written certificate or confirmation.
