My name is Charlie Seeber and I live in Midland, Michigan. In 1825 my great-great-great-grandfather Henry W. Seeber (1796-1877) moved his family from the Mohawk Valley to the Watertown area including my great-great-grandfather William M. Seeber (1817-1902). About 1883 my great-grandfather, Nelson W. Seeber (1839-1915) moved his family from New York to Texas including my grandfather Willis Seeber (1879-1960). Henry W. and William M. are both buried in the old Brownville city cemetery. I visited the cemetery a couple of years ago. We are planning a big Seeber family reunion in the Mohawk Valley this summer. Several of my relatives (most from Texas & Michigan) want to include a trip to Brownville while in New York. I plan on meeting them there for a day. Will visit the Brownville Cemetery. Couple of reasons for this e-mail. There is a 1864 map of Brownville on the Internet - included in the map is the location of Henry W. & William M. homes as well as William M. wifes family, H. Groats. All are on the far right side about mid-way up. I really have a problem trying to print the map .. is there any way I can get a copy of it, will gladly pay any cost. Also could someone also send me a current map of the same area marking where these site are today ... would love to take the folks to the sites while in Brownville this summer ? Also hear at one time there was a Seeber school ??? Do you know if it still stands & if so where ? Last question I have ... I have copies of pictures of Henry W. & his wife Susan Overocker Seeber as well as copies of pictures of William M. and his wife Eliza Groat Seeber. In 1864 they were hanging in the Washington Hall Gallery in Watertown. Could you point me towards someone that might help me locate these pictures ??
