According to the Getman Family Genealogy by William Laimbeer, published 1975 (copyrighted) pp392-393, Simon Jacob Getman, sixth son of Simon and Alsina (Petrie) Getman, was born 18 May 1855 and died 10 Jan 1908. You may be able to get an obit for him. He m 1881 Ida Corliss. Fern died in childhood, Roy Raymond b 1883. RR m Winifred McNaughton. That all the info the book gives. No places. Simon, (also Simeon) father of Simon Jacob, the oldest son of Bartlett Broadhack and Elizabeth (Grant/Grantz) Getman, b 17 Nov 1819. They lived in Chautauqua County.
