    3. Nan, I just took a quick look at this, but it appears that the "old cemetary" in Antwerp is no included and I think there are a fair number of vets buried there (I know my ancester who fought in the war is). Has no one indexed that cemetary? -- Bob Forsythe Permit Project Manager Endangered Habitats Conservancy 619/584-4143 Quoting Nan Dixon <[email protected]>: > The index for all our cemetery records is at > http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyjeffer/cemdex.htm > > Most of them are found at http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyjeffer/bartlett.htm > Rev Vets are noted, and are also found under Revolutionary Veterans. > > Nan Dixon > > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > >

    3. I believe all Antwerp cemeteries were transcribed. At least that was the intent. If you could give me either the location or the name, I'll contact Gus Rogers, who did them all, and find out. Names are iffy; Gus said that names of cemeteries were the hardest things to find. One person called them this, and the next person called them that, or they were just "the cemetery". Can you give me the name of your ancestor? I hope it isn't a cemetery included in Fort Drum...some of those are in a bad way. 3. It's not a problem on my part. My family plots in Antwerp are pretty decent, at least as of the last time I was there, which was admittedly 20 years ago. I was just pointing it out because I didn't see the cemetary listed. Fort Drum is, I'm sure, a problem. My Great Uncle was born "in the sands" as he would say, in Sterlingville which disappeared when they expanded Drum just prior to WW II. -- Bob Forsythe Permit Project Manager Endangered Habitats Conservancy 619/584-4143 Quoting Nan Dixon <[email protected]>: > I believe all Antwerp cemeteries were transcribed.
