Daniel apparently brought his family to Deferiet , N. Y.,which is in Jefferson County, so you should check out Jefferson County, NY also. 2. Thanks, Sharon. I have found a few articles from the Watertown Herald...now I'm going to search in depth. My ancestor was the oldest brother, Frederick. His son (my grandfather) was also Charles P. I do have the photos of the elder Engleharts from North Watertown cemetery if you'd like them. The parents of your Charles, Sophia Folsice, are also buried there and I have that photo. I am having trouble wih the name Folsice though and haven't really found anything there. Do you have any photos of your Charles? I'd be happy to reimburse you for any expenses for photos of anyone in that family. 2. I am hoping that someone has information about my ancestors. Charles Englehart was born in Germany, came to Watertown about 1850. He was a stone mason. He married Sophia Folsice (sp.?) about 1853. Their children were Frederick, Minnie (Frost), Charles, Carrie (Rice), Jessie (Roland.) I am seeking photos and/or information about any of these ancestors. Also I have photos of the William L. Brett family of Watertown (13 children) who are also ancestors. Thanks...and happy New Year! 2. J.M. "Jay" Ingalls
    3. Dave, Have you found the parents of John Snow yet? See what I found on the web below. Your John Snow could be related to my ancestor, William Snow. I can send you a pdf format copy of my lineage report showing my "Snow" ancestry if you are interested. I can send additional data if we appear to have a chance of finding matches. William and Sarah Snow are buried at what is sometimes called the Snow Shoe Point Cemetery west of Henderson in Jefferson County NY. William was born in 1772 and died in 1853. Hungerford Cemetery is apparently another name for the Snow Shoe Point Cemetery. We went there and checked the headstones, which were in good condition, on or about 22 May 2001. We have not yet verified the ancestry of William, but I have added data to mine that appears correct. Any additional info from anyone on the ancestors or descendants of William and Sarah will be appreciated.
