    3. Hi I was born in Black River at 138 Maple Street. The town is in the Twp of Leray, This might be part of the confusion. On the edge of what was town in 1938-1945 there was a farm which was then owned by a Mr Moore. I do not know if there is a street called Maple Street Road in what was Leraysville. My father was born in Leraysville. All of it is now part of Fort Drum, but was called Pine Camp before WW II. I don't know if this helps or not. Both Black River and Evans Mills are still quiet little towns with some of the feel of that day still there. The numbering of the houses on Maple street were changed sometime after 1955 and the house I was born in is now numbered 160 Maple Street. This is only insight, but perhaps helpful. 3. Hi! Everyone Just a friendly reminder to everyone on this NYJeffer List that messages that are gatewayed from the Ancestry message board have to be answered on the specific message board and not on the mailing list. If you do answer on the mailing list the chances are that the original poster probably won't even see your answer because more than likely he/she are not subscribers to the Rootsweb mailing list. So when you respond to a message on our mailing list that says it is gatewayed always click on the Message Board URL to go directly there and then type your answer on the board. Also if you have a question regarding how to do this or any other question as to what is acceptable please note at the bottom of all Rootsweb Mailing List messages it tells you where to direct your question. Thank you for your cooperation. Pat R NYJeffer@rootsweb.com Mailing List Administrator

I surmise that Martha is her daughter, but now I guess I have to delve a bit into the Northrup side of things. Where was that James Hollett (15) mentioned? Did he live with the Northrups? I really want to find some proof that Mary Hollett's maiden name was Mason, and that she was mother of Isaac Hollett. His death certificate said nothing about parents. I can't seem to find direct connections, and when I saw where she was buried, it seemed like an opportunity to come in from another direction. Thank you again!
