I found a PO Box address on the internet. If you have a street address that would be great. You can email me toc5871 at aol.com. Yes, they did live in Felt Mills as well. I believe there might be family still there as well. I also found a few obits on line for other members of his family which has filled in more of my tree. I hope he is up to assisting me in filling in more. Again thanks for the reply. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. In the 1854 will of Benjamin Pool (son of Olive Pool) he lists his siblings and their places of residence and the list includes Jonathan Pool of Ellisburg. I have not been able to locate a John or Jonathan Pool anywhere in Jefferson Co. that seems to fit this family; all the children were born between 1788 and 1808, primarily in RI. It seems odd that Jonathan would be listed in 2 separate wills 10 yrs apart but not appear in the 1850 or 1855 census or family cemetery. Does anyone have a John Pool in need of a family? Shirley, I posted a question related to the cemetery not genealogy. did anyone see it or do you think it may have gotten bounced? I stopped doing genealogy also for the same reasons plus no one ever seemed to address my posts which made me believe that I had a dead and buried dead end. I am happy to see the change for the site. Jeff still has the best site I have ever used. Dear Listers, We are no longer affiliated witn Ancestry.com, but are back to being an independent site. Our new address is http://jefferson.nygenweb.net/ We are no longer updating to the old site, so if you want the newest and most complete information we have, please change your favorites or whatever you use to get to the Jefferson County site. It should look exactly the same as the old one: the main difference is no Ancestry.com in the address. We are still working out bugs, so please let nandixon@Gisco.net know of any problems. We both are grateful to Bob Sullivan, the New York State Coordinator, for the tremendous amount of time he is spending on two nearly totally computer illiterate coordinators to get the job done. Nan Dixon, Jefferson County Co-coodinator.
