Hello, I put the name, Philo MCDONALD, into the search site at the FTM Library ( I do not subscribe ) and a book with his name came up: "History of Herkimer County, New York" by Geo. A. Hardin / published 1893 Little Falls, NY The day that I did the search the site must have been having problems - it gave me more info than it should have. Philo MCDONALD was one of the first settlers in a place called "GRAYVILLE" (GREYVILLE??) Does anyone know if the town still exists? I can find Philo ( and William ) in West Brunswick in the 1830 census. Does anyone have a copy of that book and is willing to take a ''look - see'' for me?
