    3. I have a copy of "Genealogy of the Mohawk Valley Bellingers and Alloied Families" by Lyle Frederick Bellinger. Your family appears to be included, but you should check it out for yourself. This is what it says on p 28 under Individual # 61 "Catharina Bellinger, born 22 May, 1726, died 21 January, 1812 age 85 years, 8 months. (Fort Plain church record) Married 3 Marcus Countryman born 21 October, 1720, died 13 January 1793. Fort Plain church. He was second son of Conrad. (See Countryman genealogy.)" It then states that there were 13 Countryman children, but seems to only list four. There is additional information as well. This book can be obtained through the Herkimer County Historical Society for a modest price. (abt. $30.00). Let me know if you'd like additional information. I also have Bellingers, and I believe a possible Countryman connection. Carol in Calif [email protected] C M Strong wrote: > I have noticed a couple of references to the name > BELLINGER.
