GUNDERMAN ("Countryman"), born abt 1765 and wife MARY. I'm thinking *maybe* Mary might be found in one of your books as there is a kind of "famous" story about her in that she was captured by the Mohawk Indians in the raids around the time of the French-and-Indian War, but she had once befriended the noted Mohawk chief, Joseph Brandt in some way (either gave him cookies or let him sleep in her barn, accounts differ) so he saw her and let her go. Anyway, Adam F. and MARY COUNTRYMAN have a daughter Rebecca who marries ADAM NESTLE and they have a son SOLOMON NESTLE who married LUCINDA PHIILIPS. So those are my three Palatine surnames: COUNTRYMAN, NESTLE, and PHILLIPS. If you can find any of these people, I would very mcuh appreciate it! :-) Marsha Strong Gainesville, FL
