Would this have the proof of marriage and names of brother and sisters of direct descendent's of the soldier? The books themselves do not really give any place names just years. Or would a pension provide more information on the soldier's relatives? I have only Civil War pensions and have never wrote for a American Rev. one. >> Yes..I wrote to DAR for 4 ancestors..one my direct descendant the other 3 his brothers. It shows the person..his wife and children..and traces on down to the person who filled out the application. They are 10.00 each. I found it very helpful and worth the 10.00. It generally gives maqrriage dates too. Good luck..this is the address; National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Administration Bldg, 1776 D Street, N.W.
