    3. Janice, My Dad was from England and his Dad [from Canada and his English born wife}bought a diary farm there sometime around 1910-1914 ny uncle was born there in 1915. My three oldest brothers were born there in 1927,1928 and 1931 when my Mom and Dad moved to Clayville where I was born in 1934. I lived most of my life in Oneida County, Sauquoit and Floyd. My grandfather also ran a coal company in Sauquoit in the 1930s. My brothers want to know the history but not to chase it. So I know my dad attented to the six grade. So she just might have been his teacher. Small world isn't it? So sorry on the loss of your mother. Thanks for sharing your info. I will print it and keep it. Claire I have been married to a Military man and his roots were North Carolina and we decided to stay for the medical at Fort Bragg here when he retired with twenty-five years in 1973. My Mother passed away in 1964 and my Dad in 1977 after my husband retired, so my children were here starting their familles so here I am. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, April 29, 1999 9:29 PM Subject: Re: [NYHERKIM-L] GRADE SCHOOLS CIRCA 1911 LITCHFIELD >In a message dated 4/29/99 8:56:49 PM Eastern Daylight Time, >[email protected] writes: > >> Can any one tell me what grade schools was there in 1910 1915 that farm >> children around Litchfield would attend.
