I research the PRUYN(E), POTTER, SHIRLEY families in Albany, Montgomery, Herkimer and Oneida Cos of NY. Has anyone heard of "Historic Cherry Hill Papers" from Philip Van Rensselaer series? My John F. Pruyn signed as storekeeper for "Provisions for two men employed in making cartridges at Albany 7th May 1781. Re: Guide to Rev. War Manscript is NY St. Library; Editor Stefan Bielinski. Was this a famous battle? John F. Pruyn owned land in the town of Charleston, Mont. Co. NY 1808. Re: deed book # 7 pg 189. Have other deeds.
