Need help to locate any information on my grandfather and his father. I've hit a brick wall in my search and being so far from NY makes it even more difficult. Here's what I know: Merton Donald Wenz b. 21 Jan. 1897 d. 12 March 1942 b. in Dolgeville d. Clayville m. in West Winfield, 19 Oct 1918 to a Pauline Churchill I need to find out information on his parents. All I have is that his name was Frederick Wenz who came to America as a young boy and m. a Carrie Hall and lived in Whitesboro, NY. Could someone who has access to looking up old obits possibly help me or perhaps a census? Or perhaps someone out there has heard of this name?
