Theophilus was a gson of the Rev Theophilus England who had been pastor of the STA [Stone Arabia?] Lutheran Church before the Revolution. Children: John P. b. 22 May 1874, bp 13 Jan 1875 Emmet J. b. 4 Jun 1879, bp 3 Sep In "The Eighteenth Century Zimmerman Family of Mohawk Valley," there is mention of the Lasher family on p. 287: Effie Catherine Sponable b. 12 Mar 1856, d. Nelliston, Montgomery Co., NY, 18 Dec 1896, aged 40 yrs 9 mo 6 days (gravestone), married 2 Jun 1880 (Canajoharie Radii) William Wagner, born Town of Palatine, Montgomery Co., 3 Dec 1856 (SAL) [Stone Arabia Lutheran Church record transcribed by Vosburgh], died 6 Dec 1925, a son of Nathan and Christian (Lasher) Wagner. "The Mohawk Valley Petries and Allied Families," p. 49: John or Jacob Frederick Petrie. He was probably from Mohawk, NY. Married Elizabeth Schuyler. Supposed to be a sister of Richard Schuyler of Oneida, NY. Her mother was Mrs. Lasher of Chittenango. Her brothers Richard and Ebenezer Schuyler invented a torpedo boat, which was sold to the government. 4 children born between 1821 and 1828. Hope this helps you some. Kim
