I am looking for information on the following GROESBECK individuals from the Albany, New York, area: Nicholaas GROESBECK (b. abt 1624) m. Elizabeth. The had Stephanis GROESBECK (1699-1744) m. Elizabeth LANSING. They had Catherine GROESBECK bap. 28 Apr 1700 according to one source, and born 1 Jan 1727 according to another source. Did she marry Hendrick FONDA in 1745? Hendrick FONDA and Catherine GROESBECK's children were born between 1740 and 1760. The Catherine baptized in 1700 would have been hard pressed to been the mother of Hendrick FONDA's children. It looks like there is some generation jumping going on in the above data -- Was Nicholaas really 75 years old when he had Stephanis? All of these individuals are supposedly my ancestors, and I am looking for sources and data to solidify these GROESBECK lines. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Kim
