Randy, Thanks (again) for the information. I do know that Maria Easton's parents were Isaac and Peace Easton (Isaac died sometime in the 1820s. I have found the census records for John, his father Peter (died in 1824), his mother Margaret (died in 1860), and for Isaac and Peace Easton. The Easton family was in Norway (census) from 1800 through 1840. The Peter Mabee family was in Charleston, until he died, then moved to Norway. Margaret's maiden name was Service, and I think she moved to Norway to be near her family. This is kind of strange, because the marriage of John and Maria is the only one that I can not find a record of for all of my ancestors back into the 17th century. Thanks for your help. Steve Mabie
