To add to this a little, on the back of the CD packaging the following statement is made. which I will quote. "The book on this CD is intended as a reference for researchers. It contains genealogical data on about 324 familes of the New York Counties of Herkimer, Montgomery, and Schoharie prior to the year 1825. As of February 1999, the book was about 1,748 pages in length. The CD extends on the genealogies found in the author's books on Herkimer Families, Montgomery Families and Schoharie Families (the latter two were released only in draft form)." To me it sounds like the books were updated through the CD!
