Has anyone located a Wightman family in Herkimer Co. Probably German Flatts or Herkimer not long after 1790? I am trying to locate the family of Allen and Rhoda Wightman and their children: Aurunah, Rhoda Lathrop, Mary, James, Lucy, George, Abiel, Sarah, Elizabeth, Allen Jr., and Simon. I have dates of their births and deaths but would like to learn.. where did they live, what was their work and what were living conditions like during the area in which they lived there in the Mohawk Valley? Both Allen and Rhoda are buried in Lakeview Cemetery in the village of Skaneateles. Any help appreciated, L.
