The Rasbach book does NOT list a second wife for John. children are: Catharina Elisabetha b. 1823 Mary Aleida b. 1824 Theodore d. 1826 age 4 months Sophia Elisabeth b. 1827 James Adam b. 1829 John Edward b. 1830 Sarah Sopia b. 1832 These first seven children were born in Herkimer and have more extensive date information and documentation. Theodore Delong Rasbach b. 1834 in Amsterdam (which is more like Schoharie county not Jefferson) Rosetta b. 1836 Charles A b. 1837 William B b. 1839 Thadeus b. 1841 Wallace H b. 1843 These last six children were born in Amsterdam according to the book. Rosanna Delong's parents were James Delong and Adelaide Krankheit, Adelaide was the daughter of Henry Cronkite who was the son of James Cronkite (b. Holland). This is the marriage that I thought was the second marriage of John M from the way the book read at first. Marks Rasbach is listed with only ONE wife.
