Greetings list, I want to stop this thread before it gets out of hand. In the genealogy community, it is considered common courtesy and proper etiquette to capitalize surnames within the subject line and message of an e- mail. Repetitive use of capital letters is not suggested, as it offends some users and distracts the reader's vision from the surnames.
