Michael-- You are right. None of these genealogy sites are any good to anyone whose family has not been done in some way or other. Most people do their side of a family and sometimes do not record all of the info for that family because it is not in their direct line. I am, personally, in the same quandary as you. No one has done my immediate family, or even alluded to it, so I have to work alone. The only info out there is that which I, myself, have placed in certain areas, or have given to cousins who have used it. The research is mine to do. I sympathize with you, as it is quite frustrating to hear all of this advertising as to finding any ancestors you may have, and upon looking, you find nothing at all. Sincerely, Jacqueline.
