If I have my history correct, Herkimer Co was taken from Montgomery Co in 1791. Then these counties were taken from Herkimer: 1794 Onondaga 1798 Oneida 1798 part of Chenango At the LDS website, familysearch.org, there are no films available for the years between 1791 and 1803 --- with the exception of the deeds for "that part of Herkimer which became Oneida" which are said to be "at Utica", which I suppose means they might be available at the LDS page for Oneida Co. So that seems to mean that all other deeds for 1791-1803, including those for (1) The part of Herkimer that became Onondaga (1791-1794), (2) The part of Herkimer that became Chenango (1791-1798), (3) And the part that remained as Herkimer (1791-1803) .....are all missing?
