I am looking for info re Whiting Tuttle, born 9 Dec 1830 in Herkimer Co., married to Mercy Towne about 1854. It looks like he died about 1868-9. Does anyone know Whiting? I am looking for death info - why he died and date and burial place. Where would I send for their marriage license and certificate? There are 3-4 more Whitings in that era too. I don't know who they are. Maybe I should, so if you know any Whiting Tuttle I would appreciate hearing from you. Happy digging, Janet Branson
