Crafts, who acted as moderator. Samuel C. Crafts was elected clerk, and held the office until 1829; Ebenezer Crafts, Nathan Cutler and Nehemiah Lyon, selectmen; and Joseph Scott, constable. The first justice of the peace was Samuel R. Crafts, in 1792. The first representative was Ebenezer Crafts, elected the same year. The first freemen's meeting was held in September, of that year.
