One of our mission goals is to record the sites of barns that are no longer standing. We have been able to do this to date with two barns that have been gone 25 and 15 years respectively. One of the barns was recorded in a set of three family photographs taken 25 years ago just before the barn that was in the process of falling down was knocked down. We have also been able to ascertain that a barn was standing at a given date from the will inventories describing objects that are only found in a barn. If anyone has any information regarding this type of barn we would greatly appreciate your kind assistance. Perhaps you have a document that includes information regarding one of these barns or better still a photograph of some sort of family outing or function that shows one of these barns in the background.
