I am also searching the Buchanan line! I have some additional information on Willa, as she is my great-grandmother. She was born 24 Jan 1869 in Illinois. One document says she was born in Rochelle, IL, and another document says she was born in Belvideer, IL. She married Allie HOLMES on 30 Dec 1891 in Town of Whitestown, Oneida County, NY. She died 4 Sept 1900 in West Winfield, NY, and she is buried in West Winfield. I have Willa's father as John Louis BUCHANAN. Now her mother I am not sure. I had Helen POOLER as her mother (cannot remember right now where I got this, I think from the Holmes book my uncle has). But on the Verified Transcript from the Register of Deaths, Willa's mother is listed as Julia D. Buchanan. So I am not sure which is correct. I would love to know if there is someone who connects with John, as I do not have any other information on him.
